This is a comic strip I created for my Ethnic American Literature class. In this class, we explore the experiences of people of color in the United States through the medium of graphic novels and comics. For an assignment, I had the choice of creating a comic of my own and this is what I created. It represents generational trauma within the African American community (which was one of the main topics in the graphic novel we were reading at the time).
